JSCM 2021 Impact Factor
At Journal of Supply Chain Management (JSCM) we are aware that impact factors, cite scores, and the like are poor proxies of a journal’s quality let alone the impact of any one article. However, we also know that authors need this information. We are therefore very happy to announce that JSCM’s 2021 impact factor is 8.025. This is obviously very high and the second highest impact factor in the history of our journal, surpassed only by the 2020 impact factor, which was even slightly higher. For ten years we can see an almost linear growth trend for the journal’s impact factor. JSCM has thus reached an extraordinarily high level, highlighting its role as a leading journal in the supply chain management discipline. JSCM is also ranked 4 in the British ABS/AJG list, further underscoring this role. A similar development can be observed for JSCM’s 5-year impact factor, which has now reached 10.949.
