JSCM at Logistics Research Network Conference

This year’s Logistics Research Network (LRN) Conference took place at Aston University in Birmingham, UK. It is the 26th Annual Conference of The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport. The theme of this year’s conference was “Supply Chain Innovation: People, Process, Technology”. Andreas Wieland, Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Supply Chain Management, contributed with his keynote on “Reimagining Supply Chains”, arguing that new metaphors can help us to interpret supply chains differently and discover new phenomena. He also showed that our discipline needs more diversity in terms of new topics, methods, theories, and paradigmatic assumptions.
