Indicators of JSCM's quality and impact
At JSCM we know that impact factors, cite scores, journal lists and the like are imperfect proxies of a journal’s quality let alone the impact of any one article. However, we also know that authors need this information. Therefore we are pleased to inform you that JSCM has once again performed very well across a number of recently released indicators.
First, JSCM’s ISI 2 year impact factor for 2020 is 8.647 and the 5 year impact factor is 12.435 in the just released Journal Citation Reports.
JSCM was 21 st out of 226 management journals and second in operations and supply chain management. In addition, in the recently released CiteScore metrics JSCM’s citescore of 12.9, is in the top 1% of journals and the highest among OSCM journals.
JSCM has been first or second among operations and supply chain management journals for the last 11 years on these metrics.
Finally, JSCM has been reranked as a 4 in the ABS journal list. These results are a reflection of the quality of research being done by the authors in the community as well as JSCM’s exceptional AEs, ERB members and reviewers. Articles in JSCM have this impact because AE’s and reviewers work with authors to develop their initial submissions into the best papers possible.
